We’re super excited to announce an official collaboration with Goodwill! For the next series of posts, we have partnered with our local org, Goodwill Industries of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin, to bring you some awesome second-hand shopping inspiration.
Goodwill has always been one of our favorite thrift shopping destinations, so naturally we were very excited to team up. Goodwill has been helping the community here in San Francisco since 1916, surviving several earthquakes and fires in the process. This collaboration features their newest store, located on Bay Street near Fisherman’s Wharf. The store has a lovely boutique-style layout, reminiscent of a typical retail store. We definitely recommend you check it out if you’re in the area.
The theme for this series of posts is dates in San Francisco. The culture of the City and the surrounding Bay Area is anything but typical, so naturally a date can mean a lot of different things here. In this series we’ll be sharing date looks for a fancy dinner out, a casual food truck date and a hike date. With Goodwill, the possibilities are endless and you can truly dress for any occasion.
In this post, Brittany shares her date hike outfit. The goal was to blend sensible layering (Karl the Fog could show up at any time), plus a little form-fitting flirtiness. The athleisure trend is here for good, and we 100% cool with that. Workout and loungewear doesn’t mean grubby, baggy clothes anymore and we couldn’t be happier. You could wear this look just as easily on the trail, as at the supermarket. Especially San Francisco’s Marina Safeway, for any singles in the know. 😉
Stay tuned for Devon’s date hike look, plus the rest of the posts in this series. We’re so excited to share them with you!
